- This individual requires a high degree of initiatives, business judgement, persuasiveness, assertiveness, be able to work with all levels of the company and with executive levels with internal customers and the ability to perform the position requirements. Able to work with minimal amount of direct supervision while building strong relationships with internal colleagues.
- Responsible for JCH procurement related compliance issues but not limited to internal audit, cross audit and external audits.
- Responsible for implementation global procure to pay (PTP) process related policy & procedure including JCH customization. Build strong and stable communication path with JCI global CoE team.
- Responsible for maintaining JCH global level commercial template based on internal needs. Keep good communication path with JCH global legal team.
- Interact with all colleagues of the HQ Procurement organization and other JCH procurement organizations to effectively leverage JCH's procurement practices and improve daily process.
- Participates in JCI Global CoE discussion and interact with JCH local procurement leaders to optimize usage of global agreements ensuring leverage from the Global agreements to all regions.
- Keep management chain informed of developing situations and project status on a regular, professional basis.
- Responsible to execute Purchasing functions in compliance with global and regional policies, including preparation and reviewing of legal agreements.
- Manages contract and Basic Service Agreement information to ensure that renewals or termination due date are under control.
- Responsible for procurement related yearly cross audit, internal audit including remediation on time manner.
- Conduct implementation of global policy & procedure including JCH customization. Build strong communication path with JCI global CoE team and join global routine calls.
- Follow strict segregation of duty requirements never entering situations of compromise or where you are both the issuer and authorizer of an order.
- Works closely with the JCI Global to ensure alignment with the Global strategy and adoption of best practices.
- Continually looks for ways to improve and exceed expectations, increase efficiency implement better process for JCH Globally as the situation requires.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director of CoE.
- Bachelor's level degree. MBA desired.
- A minimum of 5 years of related CoE work experience, with strong demonstrated experience in compliance and policy management
- Demonstrated ability to work without direct day to day supervision and a conscientious and strong work ethic.
- Ability to implement and/or enforce agreed global policy & procedure in the case of situations where diverging approaches are suggested.
- Contract Administration (drafting, analyzing contracts; key contract law provisions)
- Must have experience working in major Corporations with international/global operations.
- Broad experience in audit support, compliance training to better serve the company.
- Proven quality focus in providing internal customer solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and to evolve efficiently to complete.
- Ability to speak multiple languages: English must; Japanese & Chinese desired.
- Previous experience in aligning compliance activities, global standards and local characteristics.
