    Department Overview

    Rakuten's IP Contents Business Department, in collaboration with Rakuten Group's 70+ services and Rakuten's ecosystem, leverages Rakuten's weapons such as "ability to sell products," "over 100 million customer data," and "network with various industries" to provide a wide variety of IP including both internal and external video content. We are working to develop a content IP business that includes distribution, merchandising, and other multifaceted development activities for various copyrighted works (IP), including internal and external videos.

    Position:

    Why We Hire

    Increased staff to strengthen the organization.

    Position Details:

    In charge of strategy and sales for expanding in-house content produced by the IP Content Division

    Responsible for acquiring and expanding licenses for content produced/produced by other companies

    Specifically

    Negotiations to acquire rights to external IP and sales of acquired IP rights

    Proposal sales for the use of various IP in marketing activities (advertisement, sales promotion, PR, etc.) of domestic and foreign client companies

    From acquiring rights to proposals to customers and subsequent project management

    Sponsorship sales for Rakuten's own IP (Shopping Panda, independently produced anime IP, etc.)

    Propose IP utilization not only to external customers but also to Rakuten's business divisions, services, and group companies.

    *A tie-up campaign utilizing Rakuten Sompo's "Godzilla-1.0" IP,

    Tie-up campaign using Rakuten Pet Insurance's "Sanrio" etc.

    Target IP ranges from anime, live action, artists, etc.

    In collaboration with local governments/administrative agencies, responsible for regional revitalization and administrative use of IP content.

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    3 years or more of experience in one of the following

    1: Sales experience at an advertising agency

    2: Sales or project management experience related to entertainment content

    3: Experience in planning and operating using IP

    Basic level English proficiency

    Desired Qualifications:

    Experience in formulating strategies using IP content

    Experience related to marketing using IP content
