Rakuten Group's mission is to contribute society by creating value through innovation and entrepreneurship. We provide over 70 various services such as online shopping mall "Rakuten Ichiba", online travel service "Rakuten Travel", online banking service "Rakuten Bank" and others including pro-sports businesses.
Department Overview
The Internal Audit Department conducts audits on various business domains of domestic and overseas Rakuten group companies, and is responsible for assessing group-wide internal control reporting systems to correspond with Japan FSA requirements (J-SOX).
Our mission is to contribute to realize the effective risk management and organizational improvements through our activity. We also aim to become an information hub of every organization, and have a role to spread good practices in Rakuten group organization.
We are assessing over 50 systems as ITGC. With that, it expects to increase more and more according to company growth.
Our mission is to prove the target systems which are related to the financial report are fine to all stakeholders as the listed company.
So, we are responsible for not only assessment, but also building IT controls. Also, we have a good opportunity to involve many advanced technology and huge systems.
So, we believe those are connected to big motivation.
Position:
Why We Hire
We are looking for J-SOX assessment staff in the ITGC field (mainly for domestic business).
Position Details
The main work is an internal control assessment required for J-SOX (documentation assists, collecting information, management assessment and discussion with audit firms).
In our flat team, we all are conducting audit/assessment projects as ONE TEAM, and proceeding audit procedures by talking or chatting via offline/online.
*After the assignment, there are opportunities to widen your experiences to system audit, security audit, compliance & operational audit, etc.
Work Environment
The Internal Audit Department has seven sections and more than 40 people. Our audit client is all the domestic/overseas organizations, except for Fintech.
This position belongs to the Accounting Governance Section, which has the responsibility of J-SOX assessment.
Most of team members are mid-career hires.
Half of them comes from audit firms. Mid-career staffs are very active in this department.
Mandatory Qualifications:
One of the following
1+years of experience of J-SOX (ITGC) in the audit firms
or Business corporation/company
3+years IT related work experiences (System design,
development, operation, etc.)
*Experience of communicating with clients is mandatory
Desired Qualifications:
Qualifications related to system audit. Ex) CISA, System
Auditor, etc.
Qualifications IT related technology. Ex) Development language, DBMS, Application, Cloud related skills, etc.)
