    About Organization

    Security Engineering & Operations Division within Rakuten Mobile is responsible for safeguarding the organizations digital assets, sensitive information, designing/implementing robust security controls, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness, and proactively responding to emerging threats. The Business Operations Department is responsible for the following: Planning and Strategy, Finance and Procurement Management, Human Capital management, Communications and Meetings Management to ensure success for the Security Engineering & Operations Division.

    Job duties

    As our Project Manager, you will leverage JIRA and agile methodologies to drive project success. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in project management, specifically in the cybersecurity domain.

    What sets you apart is your extensive knowledge and experience with JIRA and agile methodologies. You are not only familiar with cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and industry best practices but excel in them. Your exceptional organizational and time management skills allow you to handle multiple projects simultaneously with ease.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments.
  • Utilize JIRA to track and manage project tasks, issues, and progress.
  • Implement agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to enhance project efficiency and adaptability.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and cybersecurity experts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to continuously improve project management processes and tools.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset, able to quickly adjust to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience in cyber security concepts, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and agile methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Project Management, etc.).

    • Proffered Qualifications

  • PMP or Agile certification

    • Languages:

    English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 1 - Beginner)
