Rakuten Group offers more than 70 diverse services, including the online shopping mall Rakuten Ichiba, e-commerce services such as the travel booking site Rakuten Travel, financial services such as Rakuten Bank, and professional sports.
Department Overview
The mission of the New Accounting System Group of the CFO Office is to DX the accounting processes of Rakuten Group.
The group is working on the vision of accounting process DX for the entire group, and promoting the implementation and study of AI and digital solutions in the areas of operations, compliance, and business management.
We are also implementing and operating SAP-S4HANA, the common accounting platform for the group, and BLACKLINE, an accounting operations management system.
In promoting DX, it is also an important mission to analyze the accounting processes of each business and propose the unification of accounting processes into a standardized accounting process.
In addition, in proposing systems and processes, there are situations where we utilize our extensive expertise in consolidated accounting, IFRS, taxation, and other areas. This is a place where you can utilize your knowledge and experience as an accounting professional in the field of accounting process DX.

Mandatory Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in accounting field at a business enterprise or at an audit or consulting firm
Interest in standardization and DX of accounting processes
Business-level Japanese
Desired Qualifications:
Expertise in taxation, IFRS, consolidated accounts, etc.
Knowledge and experience in AI and data science
Experience with SAP-S4HANA accounting system
Team leading experience
English communication skills
