While working for Rakuten Group, Inc. , you will be responsible for the accounting of Rakuten Mobile, Inc.

The Accounting Section of the Finance and Accounting Strategy Department of Rakuten Group, Inc. to which you will be assigned, consists of four groups - the Corporate Accounting Group, Business Accounting Group, Fixed Assets Group and Tax Group - and is responsible for the overall financial accounting area.

You will be entrusted with the accounting work of Rakuten Mobile, Inc. while belonging to Rakuten Group, Inc.
The following is a list of expected tasks.
Fixed Assets Management Group
Rakuten Mobile, Inc., which operates in the telecommunications business, is a company that plays a role in social infrastructure and possesses one of the largest fixed asset counts in the country in order to provide services.
Due to the significant impact that the scale of over 1 trillion yen has on the entire Rakuten Group, Inc., there is a separate organization dedicated to managing fixed assets.
Creating registration data for fixed assets
Controlling impairment, disposal, and sale processes for fixed assets.
Conducting physical inventory of fixed assets
Creating reports and disclosure documents related to fixed assets
Project management for self-developed software
Managing temporary accounts related to fixed assets, such as construction in progress
Management of estimated assets such as IFRS 16 and ARO
Declaration and payment of depreciation legacy tax
Management of assets subject to sale and leaseback
Organizing issues related to fixed assets and building internal workflow
Other general tasks related to fixed assets
Mandatory Qualifications:
Required experiences
Accounting operational experience more than 2years
Overall knowledge for accounting
Required competencies
Responsibility (be able to understand, think through and conclude for work completion)
Adaptability and flexibility (be able to respond to changes beyond your role or responsibilities)
