Department Overview
The Business Innovation Department within the Commerce & Marketing Company primarily launches and operates new businesses in the lodging, travel, and leisure fields.
We operate the 'Rakuten STAY' business, which operates accommodation facilities with our own brand, the 'Vacation STAY' business, which is an accommodation and private lodging reservation site, and the 'Rakuten Travel Experience' business, which is an activity reservation site.

Position Details
The main tasks are the production of various web pages and postings for the opening of new facilities, and the operation of existing websites.
Work is carried out in collaboration with members of the departments in charge of opening accommodation facilities and sales.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years practical experience as a Web Project Manager or UI/UX Designer
Experience in team-based production and development
Coding experience using CSS/HTML/JavaScript etc.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma/Illustrator/Photoshop etc.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in developing services and websites related to the travel industry
Experience in promotional planning and formulating marketing plans
Experience in smartphone app production and UI design
Practical experience in upstream development processes such as requirement definition and functional design
Experience in project management
Experience in creative production and operation of web advertisements
Experience in implementing SNS and affiliate marketing
Knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, and analytical algorithms
Knowledge and experience in SEO measures
Editing and writing skills
