    The Role


    This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

    Job Responsibilities


    The Accountant will report to the Assistant Manager responsible for finance and operations of the Mapletree Investments Japan KK & Mapletree Management Services Japan KK (collectively "Management Companies"). The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Book-keeping mainly expenses
    • Accounts payable & expense processing
    • Support for preparation of financial statements
    • Update internal reporting systems (SAP & BPC) setting
    • Monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reporting to headquarter
    • Dealing with financial auditors and supporting the various tax filings
    • Cash management to make forecast, actual comparison
    • Budgeting & forecasting
    • Analysis of financial data and report to HQ
    • Other headquarter reporting requirements

    Job Requirements


    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Business English Level - Strong writing clear emails and verbal communication ability is preferable
    • 3-5 years of working experiences in Accounting & Finance is ideal but not necessary

    Preferred Skills

    • Reporting skills, attention to details, analytical skills, confidentiality, time and project management, data entry management, numerical competence, team-worker, self-starter & quick leaner
    • Microsoft Excel (Strong) , Word, Office
    • Preferably with basic knowledge of SAP system but not necessary, ERP system experience is preferable
