Department Overview
Corporate IT Department is looking for a skillful Salesforce Architect and Developer for internal SalesForce system designs and development as CoE (Center of Excellence) team in Rakuten. We have over 100 SalesForce Organizations in Japan and Global and assuming one of the biggest SalesForce customer. There are various use cases to be implemented based on the business requirements since Rakuten has different IT services from E-commerce to Fintech. Now several SalesForce related implementation or customization projects are running in parallel in group-wide.

This CoE Architect position support those group-wide activities for SalesForce management and lead the development from technical and operation efficiency perspective.
We're proactively verifying and acquiring new technologies for SalesForce and other cutting-edge platforms, and evolving our service to the next level on a daily basis. This position may require the proactive mindset to chase those new challenges and contribute to the businesses by maximizing the capability of IT systems.
Position Details
As the architect of Salesforce, expected to lead designs and projects of our internal SalesForce implementation and customization activities among all businesses in Rakuten group.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements, and system customization that solve critical business needs.
Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions from SalesForce architect point of view.
As CoE for SalesForce, provide technical support to internal SalesForce engineers and users to maximize the productivity of each development activities
Mandatory Qualifications:
Over 3 years experience of leading SalesForce implementation/migration projects as the technical architect of SalesForce (for Sales Cloud / Service Cloud)
5+ years hands-on experience in Salesforce development including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Experience working with business and technology leaders to solve complex - business and systems problems
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Language skills: Japanese - Business level, English - Business level
Desired Qualifications:
Joined global project for SalesForce implementation and lead the technical implementation with off-shore engineers
Team management capability for SalesForce administration or development (over 5 members)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with all levels of employees and with on and off shore support
Excellent analytic skills
Works with urgency and a high degree of personal accountability
Collaborates well and builds effective relationships and partnerships
Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant and/or Service Cloud Consultant Certifications Preferred
