- Perform re-engineering tasks to address component obsolescence or feature inclusion within embedded hardware products.
- Demonstrate proficiency in activities associated with the embedded hardware product lifecycle.
- Connect with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Contribute to and execute design development activities alongside offshore teams.
- Analyze requirements and change requests.
- Architect designs and select components.
- Conduct reviews and validations throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet project objectives.
- Integrate and validate developed designs.
- Work on products tailored for Automotive clients in Japan, particularly focusing on Vision systems and control systems.
- Possess experience with control systems and managing PCBs and sensor boards.
- Ability to address PCB error queries and perform reverse engineering when necessary.
- Engage with offshore teams to ensure smooth execution of design and development tasks.
- Business level Japanese (N3 or higher) and English mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its requirements.
- Proficiency in PCB design tools and relevant software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and remote team environment.
- Experience with vision systems and related technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant automotive standards and regulations.
