    Your Role

    Mission

    Your mission will be to deliver sustainable and profitable growth in Japan and ensure we become and remain "First in Mind, First in Choice" at our key customers. The business development around E-Mobility and Automation and the new markets segment that are coming with those trends is a key part of this mission.

    In this role, you will report to the General Manager of ITBA Japan with a dotted line to the Global VP Sales IAS Division

    Your responsibilities amongst others will include:

    Accountability for revenues, profit and market share (Full Profit & Loss responsibility)

    Analyze market trends, key indicators, competition, SWOT, market mapping to develop and implement a business plan and sales & marketing strategies that are consistent with the organization's overall mission and vision, in the short-term and long-term.

    Leading, coaching and motivating all sales and marketing functions so that policies, procedures, and activities meet the organization's short/long-term business objectives and comply with regulations and standards

    Launch all new products in the connected portfolio to their full potential

    Development of Team Competence

    Digitalization in all steps of the sales process, Salesforce for marketing automation

    Cooperate with other business lines in order to increase the total business for Atlas Copco

    Secure that customer satisfaction is used as business driver in all that we do.

    Key account management and international cross border project coordination

    Align the global IAS Strategy by means of growth segment, customer, projects

    Local strategy and business planning, aligned with global IAS planning

    Developing and maintaining up to date market intelligence

    Ensure implementation and compliance to Business code of practice, HR policies & Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) initiatives within your team

    Cross divisional collaboration such as MVI and SAS to improve our brand awareness, competitiveness in the market. Built the strong communication base/ platform with Inside sales organization

    Weekly Pipeline review by using Salesforce

    Provide Phycological safety working environment with ITBA management team


    To succeed, you will need

    Knowledge and Experience requirements

    We are looking for a person with a successful background in Sales and/or Marketing, and experience in the Automotive Industry, who is willing to develop and implement an aggressive growth strategy. You should have people management experience, strong leadership skills and a strong customer orientation.

    You shall be:

    Technically and commercially oriented.

    Comfortable working at all levels of within customer organization.

    Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Computer literate with standard office systems.

    Holding a driving license and have a willingness to travel regularly within Japan

    Fluent in Japanese, business level English is a must

    Culture competence, preferably Japanese and western culture experience

    Educational requirements

    University degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration or similar experience/academic background

    Personality requirements

    Dynamic, result oriented and self-motivating personality with entrepreneurial spirit

    Good organizational, planning and follow up skills, proactivity & ability to prioritize

    Team player and open minded personality with ability to listen to people

    Strong customer and quality focus with ability to keep commitments seek feedback and continuously drive customer satisfaction

    Strong leadership skills and experience with leading a team is a must

    Strong conflict resolution skills, ability to cooperate and communicate efficiently with colleagues and partners at all levels

    Able to coach, develop and motivate a team and lead it into new achievements.

    Have a genuine interest in growing the automotive business which holds tremendous growth possibilities.
