:About Organization
E2E Performance & Capacity Division is responsible for ensuring Rakuten Mobile network End-to-End performance and/or capacity KPI are achieving the targets, providing the best customer experience, filing business requirement and align with Network Functions/Applications owners.
Job duties
As National Capacity planning and performance assurance expert you will be responsible to ensure Rakuten network is operating with the optimum capacity through efficient dimensioning and forecasting, discover opportunities for enhancements and drive stakeholders for the needed actions.
Key Result Areas/ Accountabilities
•Own E2E Network Capacity and search for enhancements opportunities.
•Initiate streams with all needed stakeholders including marketing-technology partners-vendors to ensure proper alignment for needed network resources.
•Forecast the needed factors (registered subscribers-traffic....) E2E.
•Create daily/weekly/monthly reports about network capacity utilization status.
•Create executive dashboards to be presented in front of management.
•Assess new features/major activities from a capacity point of view and effect on KPIs.
•Daily Monitoring for Core node utilizations including trend tracking and troubleshooting if changes are observed and following the escalation process.
•Be both quantitative and qualitative, and able to quickly understand and assess complex issues to take the right decision and escalation.
•Be a role model to the team members when it comes to ownership, proactivity and taking responsibility
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
•Minimum 8 years of experience in at least 2 of the below Core domains, IMS/EPC/RCS/DRA/5G Core
•Detailed understanding of various Telecom technologies like RAN/IPTx/OSS/Cloud etc.
•Detailed knowledge of various message flows interconnecting Core Domain nodes
•Knowledge of various Interfaces and Protocols used in 4G/5G technologies & their service flows.
•Working knowledge of Cloud, Containerization, Virtualization & NFV concepts and related technologies.
•Knowledge of E2E Mobile Solutions, Mobile & Packet Core concepts
and related technologies.
•Knowledge of Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
•Be a fast learner, ambitious, and comfortable working in high-pressure
environments
•Culture of collaboration, agility, innovation, and speed.
•Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Minimum Qualification
•B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE or CSE/IT
•PS core and Cloud, experience as an advantage
• 10+ years' experience in CORE/OSS/BSS Capacity planning and Performance assurance
• Deep knowledge CORE/OSS/BSS/Planning, Performance assurance, Audit and Optimization
• Experience in Network dimensioning and design
• Strong experience in capacity forecasting tools
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proffered Qualification
• Programing Experience (Python)
• Bigdata analysis experience
• Project management experience
• Experience working on multiple products/projects in parallel
