    Job Title: Business Development Manager at Pharma Solutions Japan

    • Develop business plans and initiatives to grow sales in key accounts and market for Pharma Solutions products in Japan.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
    • Focus on meeting budget requirements and profitable sales targets.
    • Explore business opportunities in pharma and dietary supplement markets.
    • New business development and maintaining customer relationships.
    • Optimize sales channels and resolve customer issues.

    How you will Contribute:
    • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
    • Manage key accounts to meet sales budget requirements annually.
    • Develop and execute key account plans to drive profitable growth.
    • Identify new business opportunities to increase sales.
    • Coordinate between customers and company resources for added value.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for key accounts.

    Job Requirements


    What you will need to be successful:
    • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Nutraceutical, or related field.
    • 8+ years of sales experience in pharma or dietary supplement industry.
    • Proven track record in sales management for related products.
    • Strong drive for success with excellent commercial and technical acumen.
    • Ability to engage at various levels within customer organizations.
    • Experience in key account management and distributor engagement.
    • Existing network and expertise in Japan's pharma industry preferred.
    • Strong negotiation and value selling skills.
    • Resilient, results-oriented, and a team player.
    • Proficiency in SAP, SFDC, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Positive mindset with time management skills.
    • International outlook with cultural affinity for Japan market.
    • Fluency in English and Japanese.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and regionally.

    About the Company:
    The Pharma Solutions business at IFF is poised for growth as it transitions to Roquette. This move aims to enhance industry leadership through innovation to cater to evolving pharmaceutical needs worldwide. The sale is expected to conclude by the first half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals. Joining the Pharma Solutions team means being part of this transition and the future growth with Roquette.
