    Responsibilities

    The Library Staff (Institutional Repository & e-Resources)'s tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage publication data, deposit articles in the repository, and support overall repository registration workflow.
  • Create and update Open Access Reports for faculty evaluation.
  • Manage electronic resource accounts and analyze usage statistics.
  • Handle inquiries regarding repository and electronic resources.
  • Do administrative works as a Library Committee Secretariat.
  • Other duties as directed by the Manager.
    • Qualifications

    (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Database management experience
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office software and library operation software and database
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and do multi-tasks
  • Ability to work with respect for teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English

    • (Preferred)

  • Degree in Library and Information Science, computer science, or IT
  • Librarian Certificate
  • Japanese skills
  • University library experience
  • Experience using EndNote (Citation & Reference Management Tool)
