Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Capture Manager to join its Worldwide Public Sector team in Japan. This team focuses on working with public institutions in Japan to make a significant impact on citizens' lives using AWS Cloud services.
The role requires prior capture, strategic pursuits, consulting, or business development experience with a deep understanding of cloud adoption trends and challenges in the Japan public sector.
The ideal candidate will work alongside various teams within AWS to identify and shape long-term customer outcomes and value. They will be responsible for developing trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders to drive cloud procurement pursuits and influence buying behaviors in the public sector.
This role involves building, growing, and evolving large, complex deals and procurement vehicles in the Japan public sector. You will collaborate with key executives to develop next-generation procurement and contract structures.
Day-to-day activities involve collaborating with key decision-makers in both Public Sector and AWS Partner organizations, orchestrating opportunity development, and driving strategies to shape long-term cloud procurement environments.
The Capture Manager will be part of the Japan WWPS Public Sector team, contributing to global strategies aimed at enabling Government and Partners to adopt AWS cloud services effectively.
