- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for Japan, aligning with global and regional objectives to drive sustainable growth.
- Lead initiatives to expand market share, identify new business opportunities, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in Japan.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture that reflects the company's values.
- Drive financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting for the Japan business unit, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty in the Japanese market.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and government entities to support business objectives.
- Proven experience (6+ years) in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Country Head or General Manager in a multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of the Japanese market, business culture, and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex business landscapes.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of representing the company at various levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
