- Designing, implementing, and maintaining a cloud security monitoring and response infrastructure for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Developing and enhancing security automation and response capabilities
- Researching and implementing new security tools and policies based on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Assessing existing cloud infrastructure for security improvements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to establish security policies aligned with regulatory requirements
- Acting as a cloud security subject matter expert to guide other teams
- Participating in security incident responses and aiding in remediation tasks
- Creating recurring cloud security reviews and metrics reporting
- Providing training on security best practices for cloud-based services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and platform security
- Experience with security monitoring and response solutions in public cloud platforms
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud security operations
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for incident response
- Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
- Experience in incident response for cyber-attacks
- Professional certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, GSEC, or AWS certificates
- Background in CSIRT or vulnerability management
- Experience with compliance and security requirements like PCI DSS or FISC
- Ability to thrive in a diverse workplace and team environment
