About Us
ECC has been a mainstay of the English education industry for over 60 years, and our Children's Education Section has been offering stable employment for over 30 years. We are consistently rated in the top 3 English schools in Japan and #1 in student enrollment.
Position
The Children's Education Section primarily makes contracts with privately owned kindergartens and nursery schools to provide an English program for their students. We dispatch foreign teachers to teach lessons to students aged 1-6 across Japan. The Osaka office is responsible for contracts in West Japan: Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Hyogo, and Wakayama.
Main responsibilities:
Recruiting part-time teachers
Training and ongoing teacher support
Observation of classes and maintaining performance records
Administrative duties
Class scheduling
On-call duty for weekdays and seasonal weekends
Participating in management plans and team projects
Teaching on average 1-2 mornings or afternoons per week
Working Details
10:00 - 18:00 (1-hour break) Monday through Friday (35 hours/week)
Occasional weekends/holidays required
Requirements
Proactive and flexible in a fast-paced office environment
Organized, detail-oriented
Comfortable with Japanese daily communication (80% English, 20% Japanese)
Confident using a computer (Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, etc.)
Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
