- Prepare Tax returns of Japanese corporation income taxes and non-income taxes (i.e., Corporate Income taxes, Consumption Tax, Depreciable Assets Tax and Business Office Tax) for Japanese legal entities and manage related tax payment process.
- Financial reporting on the taxes stated above and associated planning process.
- Contribute to the tax audit management with regard to the taxes stated above.
- Prepare and file Japanese withholding tax documents including tax treaty applications and information reporting to relevant tax authorities.
- Manage day to day inquiries on transaction related taxes from business, operation and other functions.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
- Have the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert to any internal stakeholders and /or other team members.
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Native level of Japanese Proficiency, Business level of English Proficiency

In this role, you're expected to:
The Tax Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
