Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Good day and I hope your health is good.

A little background about myself, I'm a Marine Engineer by profession. One of the highlights of my career was the opportunity to interact and engage in English with vast range of nationalities. Additionally, I have studied in a private English school for eight years. Currently, I possess a TEFL certificate. It paved the way for me to teach in an International preschool in Tsu and Ise in Mie prefecture. I worked as a part time teacher but now open to full time positions as well if given an opportunity.

I came from Greece to Japan to try an adventure of experiencing a different culture, from west to east, which for some Westerners is extraordinary to try due to extreme differences. Fortunately, my try was worth the good experience. So far, it's a thrilling experience to meet two different worlds. That said, the passion to interact more with the Japanese culture which rooted from the teaching opportunity I have became stronger and the willingness to offer more grew on me.

In my free time, I read a lot. I love reading different kinds of books but if I may specify, my top would be history! Jogging, cycling, working out and sports are my favourites too! Basketball is my thing!

Teaching is not an easy issue. Regardless the range of the ages you teach. You always have to give your best self to see happy, enjoyable and satisfied students. It comes after hard-work and full integrated lesson planning which involves all the students including each weaknesses to address. The time is limited, therefore we have little time to do many things: organization, full integrated plans, materials must be ready beforehand and teachers readiness to give accurate answers to their questions of any kind from the silliest the the most serious one. It's a hard work, a work that challenge you everyday. But the best award is the one which comes after every lesson: joyful and satisfied students who had a lesson in a steady, rich-activity environment and looking forward to the next lesson. That is a teacher's best reward.
