Job summary
This role is for a mid-level analyst experience to join the front-office trading support team.You will take a lead role in short-term market forecasting, enhance and maintain bidding curve-based models,
and deliver real-time insights into Japan's wholesale electricity markets.
The position requires a strong grasp of power market structures,
independent analytical judgment,
and fluent bilingual communication skills for effective collaboration with traders,
data engineers,
and operational teams across regions.
- This role includes independently monitoring and interpreting short-term market movements in Japan's power sector.
- Generating day-ahead and intraday price forecasts,and delivering timely market commentaries for the trading desk.
