About The Role
The Decommission Team is a part of the Infrastructure Operations Team, the backbone of AWS that supports our rapidly growing AWS business and customers. As AWS grows, we strive to grow our own talent.
Your "Day One" starts with a 6-month contract, working from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00, in our data centers. During this period, you have the opportunity to gain an understanding of data centers through hands-on decommission of server racks and other infrastructure equipment. You will understand how to handle and dispose legacy equipment while keeping customer data secure. You will work with your colleagues and other teams that support this infrastructure and the customers that rely on it.
As you receive on-the-job training, gain cross-functional, transferable skills, and establish yourself as a knowledgeable, efficient technician, your contract can be extended or become a full-time role. You will find opportunities to expand within the team and the organization. Just as technology is constantly advancing, AWS continually evolves and encourages all Amazonians to exceed the expectations of our customers.

About The Role
デコミッションチームは、急速に成長を続けるAWSのビジネスやお客様をサポートする、AWSの根幹であるインフラストラクチャーオペレーションズ部門の一員です。成長していく組織の中で、私たちはGrow Our Own Talent (自分たちの仲間は自分たちで育てていこう)に努めています。
「Day one」は、月曜日から金曜日の9:00-18:00 で6ヶ月契約で始まります。この期間中、サーバーラックやその他のインフラストラクチャー機器を実際に手に取ってデコミッション作業に携わることで、データセンターについて学べる機会となります。また、お客様のデータを安全に保ちながら、古い機器の取り扱い方や廃棄する方法についても学びます。作業は、インフラストラクチャーをサポートする仲間や他チームと協力して行なっていきます。勤務地は東京リージョン内のデータセンターです。
