    About Organization Division

    We are part of the Portfolio & Strategy Office (PSO) Division within Rakuten Mobile Inc, and we function as a cross functional collaboration team developing and implementing Business Processes and Strategies for the Network Division. The Team designs processes by leveraging Industry Best Practices, Benchmarking and Ideating with references to ITIL /eTOM frameworks.
    We design & develop network and operation processes, enable process adoption and governance, life cycle management of processes and process digitization. Conduct periodic process audits & training.
    We are also involved in risk assessment, problem solving, and analytical solutions to drive value for the organization. Team leverages the industry best practices, tools, and frameworks (eTOM, ITIL, etc.) to create the best-in-class processes and advisory solutions.

    Job duties

    As a Business Transformation Lead, you will work on projects that help Rakuten Mobile integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. Understand Rakuten Business needs, objectives, and challenges through effective communication and collaboration.

    •Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of ITIL/eTOM best practices and Business processes. Establish strong process governance using KPIs and SLAs.

    •Implement ITSM/ITIL best practices for Operations Excellence, optimizing processes and enhancing service quality.

    • Develop and execute digital transformation roadmaps. Identify network optimization opportunities and propose realization through prevalent technology adoption.

    • Provide insights into best practices and emerging trends in Telecom/IT strategy, governance, and operations

    Minimum Qualification


    • 10-15 years of experience in management consulting and advisory experience for Telecom/IT.

    • Leadership experience in managing mid-size people) team. Foster a culture of continuous challenge to the team's viewpoints for optimal problem-solving.

    • Hands-on experience in Process engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean) to improve process efficiency

    • Experience in ITSM/ITIL, AS-IS assessment, gap analysis, digital transformation, and network optimization.

    • Should be proficient in conducting AS-IS assessment and prepare Gap analysis report and ability to convince stakeholders using findings of the report.

    •Possess in-depth understanding of TOM, covering People, Process, Technology, Governance, and Organizational Culture

    • Strong background in business and IT process excellence.

    • In-depth understanding of eTOM.

    • Should be a self-motiavted, self-starter person with entrepreneurship spirit who continuously challenges himself.

    • Should possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skill to be able to work and negotiate in a challenging work-environment
