Location Overview
Join our team in Aman Kyoto. Set in a secret garden at the heart of a forest, Aman Kyoto rests a stone's throw from Kyoto's golden Kinkaku-ji Temple and 16 other Unesco World Heritage Sites. The resort is nonetheless a secluded world apart, with light-filled suites and pavilions set in tranquil glades and its steaming private onsen offering healing in the Aman Spa.
Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Spa Manager to join the team at Aman Kyoto, in Kyoto. Oversee the operations of the Spa department on a daily basis while maintaining the structure and well-being of the department by controlling payroll costs, supply budges, forecasting, quality and staffing guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities for financial budget and analysis, including the development annual budgets for spa.
- Development of the facility's financial operating assumptions. Planning business model, budget and staffing.
- Ensures that all areas within responsibility operate in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the excellence in product and service.
- Ensures the monthly and annual revenue targets are met in the Spa.
- Authorize expenditures for cost, equipment and operating supply. Approve all invoices before payment.
- Control the cost of purchasing and office supplies. Establish a business relationship with vendors.
- Establish spa organization charts, each spa position and descriptions.
- Recruitment, development and training of all spa departments. Oversee Effective scheduling of all services and special programming.
- Development and adherence of Standard Operating Procedures Manual. Ensure monthly departmental communication meetings are effective.
- Ensure that all employees follow safety and emergency procedures and practices. Ensure employees have a complete understanding the hotel's policy relating safety.
Requirements
Languages:
- Verbal and written proficiency in English and Japanese
Qualifications/Training:
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Work Experience:
- 5 year work experience at spa industries
Others:
- Possess good communication skills
- Organization Skill
- Profession and Passion
- PC Skills (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Strong interest in Wellness field Positive mind, strong responsibility and flexibility for daily roster.
DESIREBLES:
- Any official certificate of wellness related.
