    About the job


    Join us in facing customers hesitant about using the cloud, overcoming challenges together, and aiming to adopt the cloud as a strategic technology to drive business growth.
    Targeting approximately 50 large companies without or with minimal use of AWS, mainly in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, with customer sizes focusing on companies with annual revenues exceeding 100 billion yen.
    As an Account Manager, you will have your own territory, demonstrate ownership during the business plan creation and sales execution phases to drive business.

    Main responsibilities:


    • Achievement of annual budget and new development indicators
    • Development and execution of territory strategies, continuous improvements
    • Implementing solution proposals from opening doors to closing deals
    • Collaborating with internal departments and partners to create optimal proposal schemes
    • Continuously catching up with customers' business and evolving technologies

    A sneak peek into a day in this position


    This position's sales department focuses mainly on new business development for enterprise customers.
    - Develop plans to achieve goals, review quarterly, improve the quality of activities while enhancing them.
    - Daily activities include opening doors to customers, generating opportunities, closing deals, and coordinating roles with internal teams (demand generation reps, solution architects, partner managers) and external partners. Conduct effective and efficient sales activities by combining customer visits with remote support using phone, email, chat, and web conferencing tools.
    - Cases may involve delving into areas beyond IT infrastructure, such as innovating customer corporate culture or talent development, requiring swift proposal of solutions to the essential obstacles to customers' business growth. Being recognized by customers as a Trusted Advisor is the greatest joy.

    - Diverse team with backgrounds in Japanese and foreign companies, including sales, presales, planning, and consulting. It's a team rich in diversity, including gender, nationality, and age.
    - New members undergo approximately 3 months of training after joining, with dedicated onboard buddies providing support for daily tasks and getting accustomed to AWS.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 5+ years of corporate sales experience in the IT industry or similar
    - Experience in actively proposing solutions to customer's business challenges, initiating hypotheses for potential issues, and successfully resolving them
    - Ability to autonomously plan, take action, address challenges, and learn towards achieving goals

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - Corporate sales experience with large or mid-sized companies
    - Basic knowledge of a wide range of IT infrastructure, including network, hardware, and middleware
    - Experience in CxO approach and partner collaboration
