- Gather business requirements by collaborating with different business users such as trading, operations, finance, risk, and back office technology teams
- Document requirements and collaborate with the development team for implementation
- Coordinate System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Ensure timely project delivery within scope and budget
- Develop project plans, monitor progress, provide updates to management and stakeholders
- Coordinate project meetings, report on status across work streams
- Mitigate risks and escalate issues to management and stakeholders
- Degree holder or higher, with 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, both verbal and written
- Experience in business analyst roles - requirement gathering, documentation, User Acceptance Testing coordination, and interaction with various business units
- Ability to assess project and business needs and suggest improvements
- Strong analytical skills for detailed gap analysis on multiple systems
- Experience with financial products across different asset classes
- Knowledge of the IT Project Life Cycle, expertise in Agile project management principles and practices
- Excellent presentation skills, deep understanding of Project Management concepts, and the capability to advocate and question these processes
- Ability to influence key decision-makers, peer groups, and functions beyond direct control, excel in a structured yet intricate work environment, and possess clear presentation skills to provide transparent programme status updates to sponsors and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Derivative products is advantageous
- Proficient in MS-Office tools such as Excel, Word, Visio, and Project
- Understanding of databases and general SQL proficiency
- Development experience in any programming language would be beneficial

Job/Group Overview:
The company is seeking top-level talent to join as a business analyst in the Equity Derivatives IT department. The team consists of five members distributed globally across multiple locations. This role will focus on serving global clients, with a particular emphasis on the APAC region. The responsibilities include collaborating closely with teams in Business Analysis, Project Management, Development, Testing, and Support across various locations to deliver front office solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a genuine interest in the equity derivatives industry, proactive teamwork abilities, a drive for success, and the capability to meet deadlines effectively under pressure.
