    Under the direction of the Athletics Director, serves as Intramural SportsCoordinator with overall responsibility for the operation, integration, coordination, and oversightof a comprehensive, year-round, Intramural Sports Program, in accordance with Semper Fitrequirements to include a variety of recurring and non-recurring events such as unit sportleagues, tournaments, skills challenges, special events, Commander's Cup challenges, andoutreach opportunities.

    Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs a series of community relationssports events between the local community and the active duty military, civilians and theirdependents be conducted on a regular basis.

    As required, compile and review weekly, monthly,quarterly and annual data metrics to the Athletic Director. Publicize MARADMINannouncements pertaining to All-Marine Sports aiding potential candidates in contacting All-Marine Coaches, Captains and Representatives.

    Establishes policy, procedures and SOPs with operational assistance and reviews againstdeveloped standards for the overall Intramural Sports Program to support program goals andcontinuously evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing activities and varies the program asnecessary.

    Monitors program participation and formulates plans based on measurement,evaluation, and feedback.
    Ensures volunteers follow risk management procedures (i.e., abuse prevention, identification,and reporting procedures; accident prevention, etc.).

    Promptly reports any observed workplacehazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplacemishaps to the immediate supervisor.

    Adheres to established standards of actively supporting theprinciples of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
    Ensures playing surface is properly maintained, safe, and ready for play. Responsible forscheduling of courts, track, and fields, and regularly inspects for repairs, cleanliness, etc.
    Ensures compliance with fire, safety and other environmental issues. Ensures compliance withsecurity directives and safety standards in the work area. Maintains and enforces security offunds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud,waste and abuse.
    Oversees and executes the Intramural Sports Program budget. Develops annual operational andcapital budgets along with supporting data for inclusion in overall program plans formulated byhigher organizational levels. Executes the budget to within a 5% variance and for monthly andyear-end variance reports. Tracks and analyzes expenditures and assures accounting of all fundsand assets.
    Responsible for the accountability of all property received or issued in conjunction with theIntramural Sports Program. Responsible for maintaining all Consolidated Memorandum Receipt(CMR) records for all property issued to the Intramural Sports accounts. Prepares all change ofinventory documents, updating and validating the CMR prior to inventory dates. Monitors thetransfer of all property between assigned accounts, coordinating with affected responsible officesto ensure constant and accuracy property records.
    Oversees the purchase, maintenance, and upgrading of physical assets and equipment. Monitorsequipment issue program and applies reasonable control measures to maximize usage of suppliesand equipment. Conducts inventories of resources (uniforms, equipment, supplies) and ensuresadequate storage and maintenance. Examines for defects and reports deficiencies to higher-levelsupervisor. Develops and manages program budget and prepares justification for funding ofprogram resource requirements.
    Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy and tactfulness.

    Communicates positively in a friendly manner, assists customers, takes action to solve problemsquickly and alerts higher-level supervisor when problems arise.

    Initiates and maintains necessaryrelationships with military service members, internal MCCS personnel, local communityagencies and other like groups.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
