- Develop new or enhanced laser design with semiconductor material physics, optical science and high-speed design technologies.
- Responsible for the stable volume production and the improvement of productivity
- Product design of EML and DFB laser for yield improvement and cost reduction
- Design and fabricate the necessary parts for evaluation, such as submounts, as needed.
- Evaluate fabricate chips, analyze evaluation data and write reports of them.
- Attend a meeting to explain and discuss the results.
- BSc, MSc, PhD degree in electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related equivalent technical field.
- Bachelors and 6+ years of work experience, Masters and 4+ years of work experience. PhD. no relevant work experiences.
- Knowledge of compound semiconductor such as InP material system and material physics.
- Experience of semiconductor laser design and development with at least 1-2 years' experience.
- Experience of product design for yield improvement and cost reduction of semiconductor laser diode
- Knowledge of semiconductor device reliability
- Fluent Japanese speaker and intermediate English skill
- Basic PC skills, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
