コミュニケーションリード担当は、日本市場におけるコミュニケーション戦略の立案、推進および実行を担当していただきます。

リーダーシップの取り組みや、企業および製品の紹介、メディア戦略、コンテンツ制作、代理店との協業等に携わっていただきます。

ビジネスリーダーに信頼されるアドバイザーとして振るまい、グローバルな優先事項と日本の状況に沿った戦略的なナラティブ、キャンペーン、アクティベーションのローカライズを主導します。

主な業務内容は以下の通りです(これ以外もあります):

• 日本におけるアーンド、ペイド、シェアード、オウンドメディア戦略の推進。
• 代理店管理、予算管理および計画立案
• 市場の優先事項、ナラティブ、新製品導入およびキャンペーンに沿ったコミュニケーションプランの策定および実行
• ビジネスリーダーに信頼されるパートナーおよびアドバイザーとしての役割
• リージョンのコンテンツリード担当者と連携し、日本HPのエクゼクティブのリーダーシップが円滑に進むよう支援・推進
• グローバル戦略および日本HPのコミュニケーションプランの監督
• 戦略、実行およびKPI(リーチとエンゲージメント)についての責任
• 現地の危機管理コミュニケーションおよび対外対応を担当・主導
• 国別計画と整合させるため、市場マネジメントスタッフの会議に参加
• アジア地域の コミュニケーションマネージャーにレポート

• ジャーナリズムまたはコミュニケーション分野の学士号(望ましい)

• 有名ブランド、テックブランド、またはテックPR代理店での10年以上の経験
• ストーリーテリングの専門知識

The Communications Lead for Japan will be accountable for developing, driving, and executing the overall communications strategy, including thought leadership initiatives, corporate and product storytelling, media strategy, content creation and agency management across the market. This position will serve as trusted advisor to country leadership and will lead localization of strategic narratives, campaigns and activations aligned to global priorities and local dynamics.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following

• Drive earned, paid, shared, and owned media strategy across Japan; manage agency, budget and planning
• Define and execute integrated communications plan aligned to market priorities, narratives, new product introductions and campaigns
• Serve as trusted counsel and partner to local leadership
• Lead local MD thought leadership in partnership with pan-region content lead
• Oversee the country communications plan based on global strategy and local priorities
• Accountable for strategy, execution and KPIs (reach and engagement)
• Own and lead local crisis comms and external response
• Attend market management staff calls to ensure alignment to country plans
• Reports to Head of Communications, Greater Asia

The ideal candidate is a passionate, driven self-starter with excellent writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, outstanding business acumen and the ability to work under pressure in a complex environment supporting various stakeholders.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications (preferred)
• Self-starter with ability to work effectively in a global remote team
• Media-savvy with experience across earned, owned, shared, and paid media
• 10 years of experience, working for a name brand, tech brand or tech PR agency
• Proven expertise in the art of storytelling
• Blend of strategic mindset with hands-on communications skills
• Excellent narrative development, writing and editing skills
• Exceptional project management and prioritization skills
• Ability to quickly ramp-up and make an immediate impact
• Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Superior communications and presentation skills
• Ability to build relationships with key journalists, influencers, and analysts
• Experience managing a budget and day-to-day operations
• Fluency in English and Japanese required
• Position based in Tokyo
