:About Organization
E2E Performance & Capacity Division is responsible for ensuring Rakuten Mobile network End-to-End performance and/or capacity KPI are achieving the targets, providing the best customer experience, filing business requirement and align with Network Functions/Applications owners.
Job duties
・Lead Rakuten mobile network capacity governance and planning
・Capacity planning to align with Business forecast and ensure N+2 year capacity
・Ensure E2E network is well dimensioned considering resiliency and healthy capacity thresholds
・Prepare Daily, weekly, monthly executive updates to management
・Lead the technical discussions with each engineering stakeholder and ensure the infra requirements are well collected and cascaded to infra team within time
・Ensure Budget Network budget are based on capacity requirements and resiliency
Complexity of Role
・As a National Capacity Planning Department Head, you will be responsible to ensure the Rakuten network is operating with the optimum capacity through efficient dimensioning and forecasting, discovering opportunities for enhancements and driving stakeholders for the needed actions.
・Own E2E Network Capacity and search for enhancements opportunities.
・Initiate streams with all needed stakeholders including marketing-technology partners-vendors to ensure proper alignment for needed network resources.
・Forecast the needed factors (registered subscribers-traffic....) E2E.
・Create daily/weekly/monthly reports about network capacity utilization status.
・Create executive dashboards to be presented in front of management.
・Assess new features/major activities from a capacity point of view and effect on KPIs.
・Daily Monitoring for Core node utilizations including trend tracking and troubleshooting if changes are observed and following the escalation process.
・Be both quantitative and qualitative, and able to quickly understand and assess complex issues to take the right decision and escalation.
・Be a role model to the team members when it comes to ownership, proactivity and taking responsibility
Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience
・Excellent understanding of FCAPS and various integration methods and protocols used for it.
・Understanding of the Telco OSS Service Fulfilment ecosystem
・Experience with TR-069/SNMP and other protocols
Minimum Qualification
・B.Tech in ECE or CSE/IT
・Certification Linux /Cloud solution Architect /CKE, any
・12+years' experience in OSS Capacity planning and Performance
・Deep knowledge OSS Planning, Audit and Optimization
・Experience in Network dimensioning and design
・Strong experience in capacity forecasting tools
・Strong verbal & written communication skills
・Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
