    Job Description

    Summary

    Electrical engineer conducts audio amplifier development for automotive application.

    Lead amplifier development team consisting from embedded software, hardware electrical and System integration engineers. Have responsibilities for the application amplifier development within defined QCD (quality, costs and delivery schedule).

    Work effectively with Japanese Automaker customer, Bose US team and BAGK other functional team members and ESP partners to achieve the amplifier development with verbal and written technical communication skills both in Japanese and English.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor project QCD, give appropriate direction and coordinate with internal, external team as needed.
  • Manage documentation for delivery to the customer and archiving
  • Troubleshoot system level problems or customer concerns
  • Perform structured design reviews both with customer and internally.
  • Supervise, train and conduct coaching to engineers and create strong team with excellent leadership.
  • Send a report to Director to engineer department.
  • Conduct initial amplifier performance and functional feasibility check at concept stage by communicating both with internal team and customer at concept stage.
  • Manage creating and maintain audio amplifier specification document.
  • Conduct amplifier core+application development such as circuit design/review, PCB design/review, components selection/review, EMI review, Drawing creation/review, BOM creation/review. Customer design and test review.
  • Manage conducting plant and supplier arrangement for prototype build and customer prototype parts delivery.
  • Manage conducting vehicle level operation check/review and manage issues.
  • Manage conducting detail amplifier measurement, evaluation as needed.
  • Arrange amplifier validation test items cooperatively with internal team through negotiation with customer.
  • Submit required documents related to activities above both internally and to customer.
  • Manage issues during development.
