    YOUR ROLE

    • We're looking for a Material Planner whocan help us optimize our inventory and production process. The ideal candidatewill have experience in a manufacturing or production environment and befamiliar with MRP/ERP systems. (SAP is most preferable)
    • Monitor the production, use,and disposal of waste materials
    • Maintain appropriate inventorylevels in accordance with our goals and objectives
    • Make sure that materialrequirements and shortages are fulfilled to meet production and shipmentrequirements
    • Maintain safety stock andadequate levels of inventory available at contact manufacturer
    • Maintain accurate records ofall internal and external interactions in the appropriate database/system

    YOUR SKILLS

    • Must leverage goodcommunication, analytical and PC skills with the ability to problem solvequickly and effectively
    • SAP or other MRP/ERP systemsexperience is strongly preferred
    • Minimum of three (3) years ofexperience in supply chain planning
    • Understands manufacturingprocesses and be mechanically inclined
    • Fluent in Japanese andfull professional capabilities in English
    • Should be independent,self-starter and require minimal supervision
    • Considerable knowledge ofmanufacturing and production, forecasting, and inventory management procedures
    • Bachelor's degree inapplicable functional discipline from an accredited university
    • 3+ years of experience in aplanning/purchasing environment, with progressively increasing responsibilities
