    The Role

  • Responsible for the business line SFA (Smart Factory Automation) within our division IAS for the customer center Japan including definition and sustainable achievement of sales, order and profitability targets
  • Responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategy to maximize business outcomes and set goals in collaboration with customer teams
  • Creation of a roadmap (segment, customer, industry and growth focuses) with the respective customer centers
  • Responsible for the strategic direction of the SFA product portfolio in relation to the HQ EU and worked closely with both the global business development SFA team and the local IAS team to create solutions for Japanese OEMS as well as customers and successfully bring them to market
  • Creation of additional customer value for all SFA technologies and customer processes
  • Development of a product and solution vision for the individual market segments, target planning and creation of specifications (Business Plan for Japan)
  • Identification and evaluation of future customer and market needs, based on data and technical applicability.
  • Identify new business potentials from market segmentation and pricing
  • Launch and marketing collateral as well as branding lead
  • Evaluation of the market situation including observation of competition and trend development
  • Support in local competence training and strategic workshop coordination (internal and external)
  • Active cooperation and collaboration within the AC Japan CC with BLMs, GKAMS, local KAMs, marketing and communications team, Application Center, Innovation Center and the global SFA team
  • Regular reporting and KPI tracking

  • What we expect of you?

  • Business studies with a focus on marketing, technical studies or comparable qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of product marketing and project management desirable
  • At least 4 years of experience in business development or sales
  • A machine-vision sale background is an advantage
  • Experience in automation and/or robotics is an advantage
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills paired with commercial skills
  • Experience in multicultural work as well as communication skills, ideally work experience in different regions and also on a global level
  • Experience in dealing with customers
  • Entrepreneurial and networked thinking as well as assertiveness and structured way of working
  • Strong communication skills and high customer and service orientation
