Position Overview:

We are seeking a bilingual Project Manager / PMO in Tokyo to serve as a bridge between domestic and international stakeholders, primarily between Japan and overseas offices.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing IT projects, including schedule control, progress tracking, issue management, meeting facilitation, documentation, and reporting. You will act as a key liaison between Japanese clients and overseas teams (U.S., Asia, and other regions).

This is not merely a translation or interpretation role. The ideal candidate will understand business culture differences and proactively drive projects forward as a central hub connecting global stakeholders.

This position is ideal for professionals who want to further develop their career in a global environment and play a core role in international IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall management of domestic and international IT projects (schedule, progress, quality, and cost control)

Bridge communication between Japanese stakeholders and overseas teams

Facilitation of meetings in both English and Japanese

Preparation of meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation (in both English and Japanese)

Issue management, risk management, and escalation handling

Vendor management and cross-functional coordination

Supporting the Project Manager (PMO function) or leading projects as a PM

Requirements:

4–5+ years of experience as a PM or PMO in IT projects

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (able to facilitate meetings)

Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders

Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, system development, or digital projects

Must have a valid work visa to work in Japan

(Visa sponsorship can be discussed if needed.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in global or cross-border projects

Experience working with multinational companies or overseas offices

PMP or other project management certifications

Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Position: IT Engineer

We are looking for an IT Engineer in Tokyo to support the setup and operation of our clients' IT systems. This role involves building and maintaining existing networks and hardware environments, handling system issues, performing maintenance, and coordinating with stakeholders. Effective communication with both Japanese and American stakeholders is essential.

Experienced candidates are welcome, but those who are new to IT and wish to gain experience as an IT Engineer or Support Desk staff are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Experience in IT system setup, operation, and maintenance
• Or, no prior IT experience but motivated to gain experience as an IT Engineer or Support Desk staff
• JLPT N1 or N2 certification
• Experience in IT infrastructure setup, operation, and maintenance
• Must have a valid work visa to work in Japan
