Kansai International Academy has 9 campuses in Kansai and 4 in Tokyo Area with kindergartens and early learning centers, and 1 Elementary School , Junior High and High School in Kobe. Kobe campus is authorized for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB/PYP). The Secondary School has four classes (grade 7 to 10) and we will offer a preparatory semester before the 2 year DP programme.

Kansai International Academy opened its Secondary School department (grade 7-12) at our Kobe campus three years ago. The Elementary School is also located at Kobe campus, which is an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). We are the first school to offer the PYP in Japanese, as well as English in a fully bilingual curriculum. KIA is also currently an IB DP candidate school.

We are looking for a highly motivated, qualified and experienced math teacher who has knowledge of the IB DP programme and who is willing to collaborate with the secondary school department that based around project-based and experiential learning.

Work hours will generally be weekdays from 8:20 am to 5 pm. Transportation will be compensated up to 25,000 yen per month. All employees at KIA are eligible for social insurance and paid holidays.
