    Reporting to: Senior Sales Manager, Consumer Beauty

    Direct Reports: 4

    Collaborators: Regional Marketing Team + Local Sales Team + Global Brand Team

    About the role

    The Marketing Manager is a key contributor in Japan Marketing team where he/she will be managing the full brand management aspect of the assigned brands including the acceleration of the brands' growth in the Japan Market that encompass the right product portfolio, distributions and investments with relevant KPIs as well as ensuring ROIs. He/she has to focus his/her energy in ensuring the Icons and pillars of the assigned continue to grow and launching new innovations strongly.

    He/she needs to maximize the potential of the assigned brands in the markets through regular local markets' connect and market study to get the relevant insights to chart white space opportunities, formulate competitive strategy to gain market share of assigned brands in order to provide value & guidance to the local markets to accelerate growth.

    He/she will be consolidating the marketing calendar of assigned brands for the Japan Market, pre-launch strategy with investment on the new innovation and tracking their performance.

    2. Alignment Of Brand Strategy With Both Local And Global Team
    3. Provide Guidance To Local Marketing Teams
    4. Consolidate Needs of Local Markets To Share and Seek Support From The Global Team
    5. Taking on any adhoc assignments as per assigned
    6. Develop and Implement Brand Marketing Strategy and plans including new initiatives, media plan, PR, and promotions of assigned brands
    7. Develop and Implement Mid-Long Term Category Strategic Planning
    8. Lead Product Development project collaborating with China R&D team, closely working with external partners and internal functional leaders (Forecasting, merchandising, pricing, registration, product life cycle management)
