    JOB SUMMARY

    This position executes holistic on-property and digital marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels including collaterals, websites, newsletters, social media, third-party e-commerce channels and GDS.

    Promote awareness of holistic brand image internally and externally and establish a positive online presence for the hotel including all aspects of the business (rooms, events, restaurants & bars) by integrating outlet-specific and brand messaging in a compelling and valuable way.

    This position includes people management and training.

    Key Responsibilities On-property & Digital Marketing Overall accountability for content across cluster hotels' websites and channels as per brand standards using corporate-designed CMS and digital services Develop marketing materials and assemble information packages brochures, promotional materials, maps, etc.) for promotional events, property tours, and conferences Manage marketing calendar, monthly and quarterly marketing reports Ensures consistency in individual property's voice on all guest touchpoints and marketing communications Plan and execute cluster digital marketing campaigns based on hotels' marketing calendar either with external agency and/or Marriott support Work on the e-newsletter distribution, including hotel-managed and Marriott-managed platforms Responsible for integration and implementation of tools & systems Work with other departments to plan and execute all necessary marketing initiatives aligned with marketing calendars of outlets including restaurants, bars, and spa, in activation of all efforts and initiatives Provide support of hotels' CRM strategy through active database management and effective e-mail campaign marketing Liaise with EDITION Brand Office on all required graphic design to ensure all marketing material is on brand and signed off Organize F&B and Events photoshoots and video shooting for marketing and social assets working with external content creators Oversee all marketing activities and update senior leadership on the progress, results and analysis by weekly report Represent the marketing team to internal and external stakeholders and maintain the ways of work Distribution Channels Build, audit, enhance, and maintain all domestic and international OTA websites with up-to-date information and on-brand messaging by managing extranet Conduct production review, content management, offer strategies for domestic and international Online Travel Agencies Support Revenue team in leveraging Best Rate Guarantee across all channels supporting direct bookings to Marriott websites to drive result in better revenues and stronger guest loyalty Provide support in developing assets to drive all e-commerce channel (CRS, GDS, Tour Operators & 3rd Party Sites) performance against desired contribution targets under guidance from managers Research & Analysis Use of available tools to conduct regular research and analysis of cluster digital marketing performance: Marriott MDS, Google (AdWords, Analytics, Trends), Sprinklr, CISION, etc.

    Provides regular tracking/ROI and analysis of promotions and website/email campaigns, using industry averages for ROI calculation, and uses this knowledge in future planning Identify and research new technology (example:

    new social media sites, mobile applications and websites / web technologies) Keep abreast with news, updates, new trends in the Hospitality & Tourism industry to develop and optimize online marketing strategies Social Media Management Work closely with external social media agency and provide necessary information and assets for efficient and effective social media planning and execution (Facebook, Instagram) Overview the monthly report and update statistics on performance spreadsheet to report to brand team Research new technology and industry best practices and implement where applicable Distribution Channels Support Revenue team in leveraging Best Price Guarantee across all channels supporting direct bookings to brand websites that will result in better revenues and stronger guest loyalty.

    Provide support in developing assets to drive all e-commerce channel (CRS, GDS, Internet, Tour Operators & 3rd Party Sites) performance against desired contribution targets.

    Identify marketing opportunities with all Online Travel Agents. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Experience 57 years' experience in Marketing, Distribution Marketing, Digital Marketing People management and project management experience Additional exposure in advertising agency, public relations, online travel agents, any above are a plus Required Skills and Abilities Knowledge of local market Expertise in Google Analytics In-depth understanding of SEM Strong IT literacy and adaptability to new systems Demonstrates expertise of online marketing as well as offline Creative, innovative and aware of new technology trends in digital marketing Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe software skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese Team player, excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and leadership Ability to work independently on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Good customer service skills and ability to work well with others Project management skills Ability to think creatively and innovatively Act as a good mentor, trainer and leader for the team
