- Major responsibility is the data creation of Software spending trends of domestic companies based on Investigation, inspection and data analysis regarding the actual situation and future trends of the Software market. The data is created by collect information, predict market size, and present opinions from domestic technology users as well as ICT suppliers.
- Responsibility covers the building and maintaining relationships with Software experts (Technology vendors, communities, evangelists, ICT advanced technology user companies, , formulating forecasts, creating performance data, and explaining the data background as well as the reason behind the data to customers.
- The data creation work is carried out by IDC's own data platform (English based) with collaboration not only IDC Japan members but also worldwide counterparts in the US and other regions (including not only domestic market research but also some overseas market research).
- Responsibility covers the work as an analyst to maintain/improve product quality, create and execute sales plans, etc.
- Those who have working experiences at IT vendors more than 5 years (more than 1 year at Software vendors) and have knowledge of the software and IT market in Japan.
- Japanese: Native
- English proficiency: Basic conversation, e-mail communication (read and write)
- PC: Excel (pivot table creation/utilization skills), Word, PowerPoint business level and English based on-line business tool operation required
- University degree or above
- Experience in software or cloud service product marketing, system engineering, and integration at a vendor or system integrator. Or have basic knowledge about IT architecture such as software and IT services.
- Experience discussing and making proposals on IT systems/architecture/business issues with executives of IT vendors and end-user companies
- Experience in planning, designing, and actually conducting vendor research, channel research, and user research in the cloud service market at a market research company.
- Basic knowledge of the investment situation in the cloud service area and experience in consulting on business issues.
