    Position Overview

    :

    As a Global License Manager, you will work in a hybrid position joining a global team reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Global License Management for Global Named Accounts. You will provide software asset management expertise, license management discussions, and strategic licensing support to the Autodesk Named Accounts. You will help enable our customers to better utilize Autodesk software agreements, establish new license models for purchase, and achieve growth while helping retain customers in the long term.

    Principal Responsibilities:

  • You will support our APAC sales teams across all industry markets (MFG, AEC, M&E, Automotive) with account planning and strategy by utilizing license tools, network analytics, and profiling techniques to identify potential weaknesses and opportunities within accounts.
  • You will deliver value engagements to account teams and customers through desktop scanning, network identification, and utilization reporting. Provide greater insights into customers' Autodesk user base with the main goal of driving new license solutions and securing customer license efficiency.
  • You will educate our Named Accounts teams and customers on our licensing agreements and subscription terms of use.
  • Guide Discovery Scans and Token Flex Health Checks to support deal sizing for Enterprise Business Agreements (EBA) and fuel token growth for existing EBA agreements.
  • Navigate within customers' organizations, identifying the correct personnel to help scan processes and lead asset management discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal groups (Sales, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Support) on the development of expansion and compliance strategies.
  • You will be the focal point for enforcement of software license compliance within Named Accounts.
  • Understand the legal compliance framework and exercise high-level judgment to develop a sales approach and strategy to reconcile non-compliant customers.
  • Work with third-party auditing firms to complete remote and on-site audits of customers. Analyze the results of the audit to determine negotiating positions and assist sales in closing enterprise business agreements.
  • Experience:

  • 5-10 years of strategic sales support, compliance or license management experience.
  • Experienced with negotiations and corporate positioning experience.
  • Have a experience with projects as a team member and team leader.
  • Experienced working in and excelling in a matrixed environment.
  • Global and cross-industry (MFG, AEC, M&E, or Automotive) experience.
  • Understanding of Enterprise license environments.
  • Experience of asset management tools, network data reporting and utilization, Autodesk license and contract agreement terms and conditions.
  • Experience with enforcement of Autodesk and industry compliance processes.
  • Excellent business writing and speaking skills in both Japanese and English when working with global team members at all seniority levels.
