    Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and supporting AOS science education outreach activities and events
  • Purchase and procure goods necessary to conduct science education outreach activities
  • Assist in creating financial workflow to monitor transactions from external schools and organizations
  • Collect, collate, and archive school visit records
  • Make necessary updates about science education outreach activities on OIST website
  • Provide assistance in preparing reports for the division and university
  • Other matters related to above tasks and section responsibilities
    • Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional working experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Japanese (fluent) and English (business level)
  • Experience in supporting a workshop or event
  • Experience in collecting, cleaning, archiving, and reporting data
  • Excellent professional communication skills with external vendors and other stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on teamwork
