    The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

    Summary

    In this role, you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions for mobile channel. You will interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

    • 5+ years' experience in mobile software application design & development

    • Working experience in an Agile environment

    Responsibilities


    •Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions

    • Design and develop mobile applications, system to system interfaces, and complete software solutions

    •Create documentation such as user guides and software development guides

    •Develop advanced code and perform code review

    Skills and Competencies


    • Experience with iOS and Android development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova)

    • Strong experience in most of the following technologies: Ionic 6+, Capacitor 4+, Angular 15+, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, CSS

    • End-to-end SDLC experience in Hybrid App development and ability to work independently.

    • Knowledge of web services (JSON, XML, REST, etc.) and Spring Framework with integrating with APIs and RESTful web services.

    • Understanding CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and deploying applications in a DevOps environment.

    • Familiar with secure coding standards and practices.

    • Experience using VS Code, XCode, Android Studio, Wireshark, Postman, SoapUI, Nexus, Veracode and Guardsquare
    Experience with major public cloud offerings and how to solution designs that are built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar)

    • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases

    • Ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

    • Demonstrate creativity, integrity, and dependability with a commitment to completing things promptly.

    • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the technology landscape and bank's processes.

    Experience in the banking or finance industries preferred.

    Previous Work History


    •Minimum 5-6 years of software development experience

    • 5+ years of programming experience in a modern language in : Ionic 6+, Capacitor 4+, Angular 15+, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, CSS

    • Experience with iOS and Android development in a hybrid/native tech stack

    •5+ years of experience with web technologies: Restful Services, JavaScript and Microservices

    • Experience on-prem OpenShift infrastructure and major public cloud offerings and how to solution designs that are built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar)


    •Minimum 5-6 years of developing at all levels of the iOS and Android development in a hybrid tech stack (Ionic/Capacitor/Cordova) in areas of mobile UI/UX, integrating with middle/services and back end/database

    •Experience implementing Ionic 6+, Capacitor 4+, Angular 15+, TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, CSS

    • Experience in Plugin development to integrate with native libraries using Objective C, Swift, and Java, Kotlin is a huge plus.

    • Experience with server-side technologies such as J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Oracle, OpenShift, Apache

    • Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices

    • Experience in using application and integration design patterns.

    • Experience in AWS, Axure, Google Cloud, or other cloud solution

    • Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

    Education


    •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

    The typical base pay range for this role is between $120K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
