COMPANY OVERVIEW

Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo - Making of Harry Potter (WBSTT) is an indoor attraction that takes you into the fascinating behind-the-scenes world of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World. The Studio Tour Tokyo offers a special program to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of how Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them were created. Explore iconic film sets, discover costumes and props, and experience the magic of the films in this indoor attraction, created to allow visitors to enjoy scenes from the films first-hand and discover how the world's favorite film series was brought to life on the screen. The film has been produced in the following ways.

Unlike theme parks, the Studio Tour takes you inside a film set for an exciting entertainment experience. The tour is the second of its kind in the world and builds on the highly successful Warner Bros Studio Tour London (WBSTL).

Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter opened in Toshimaen in June 2023.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Develop and lead all show experience elements for Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo (WBSTT). Develop experience strategies for both visitors and corporate clients through special events, interactive offerings and feature-length activity calendars. Work in line with Warner Bros Discovery's values and beliefs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

ACT AS ONE TEAM

Trust each other, succeed together, and grow together.

Devise and manage the content and frequency of staff training, provide optimum levels of service and standards, and develop the performance and competence of direct reports to ensure that the team fully meets customer needs.

Communicate and cooperate with other WB departments and partners.

Work with the finance team to collate commercial data, market information and feedback information on performance.

Receive one-to-one coaching from their line manager and take responsibility for their own personal development.

Lead and monitor all H&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and visitors.

Support the WBSTT team as part of the duty management team (as part of a seven-day-a-week rotation, including weekends and evenings).

Participate in studio tour cover as required, including weekends, bank holidays, school holidays and late night cover, on a rotation basis with other team members.

Support and deputise for the Visitor Experience Director.

Work with the VE Team Manager to support the promotion of high standards in the ongoing operation of the WBSTT and provide an unparalleled service.

Ensure events are presented to the highest standards and develop awareness, guidelines and tools to maintain presentation.

Develop and implement a system of sales referrals, proposals, systems and contracts between the various sites.

- Ensure excellent guest care at all times in accordance with the guest service standards set by the Show Experience Senior Manager.

Support the VE Team Manager and work with key members of the team to ensure WBSTT operates the studio to a high level of quality in accordance with the business strategy.

Collate information and produce accurate reports.

Manage and approve purchase orders in accordance with Warner Bros. policy.

To make the most of all opportunities and achieve customer satisfaction and profit targets.

Monitor and review results and evolve processes accordingly.

During event activities, as building manager, responsible for on-site, tour and guest health and safety and activities during event operations.

Ensure that administrative tasks are accurate and up-to-date.

JOB-RELATEDQUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Relevant work experience

Ability to demonstrate a circular studio operating plan and discuss how this has resulted in revenue for the business (or organisation).

Management or supervisory experience in a similar environment (or tourism, leisure or heritage industry)

Experience of working in an environment where service, standards and commercial management are important.

Ability to propose innovative ideas for future studio operations.

Work Schedule

37.5 hour shifts per week.

Weekend, New Year and evening work available.

The role requires flexibility as it needs to be resourceful.
