Summary/Objective:
Join Ansys' student internship program to analyze and solve customer challenges using real simulation tools. Interns will be part of the application engineering team specializing in optical analysis (Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE)). They will use Ansys fluid simulation platform and products, collaborate with expert teams, and work towards achieving customer support goals. Interns will have the opportunity to interact with Ansys global leaders. The internship is expected to last from 1 month to 6 months.
Main Responsibilities:
Experience a variety of roles such as pre-sales support, post-sales technical support, consulting services, etc.
Work under mentors to develop skills in one or multiple products.
Communicate with users in Ansys community/forums.
Conduct literature searches for related documents and experimental data using Ansys and competitive products.
Participate in Ansys events (exhibitions, seminars) and content creation.
Create and update materials for Ansys training courses and FAQ documents.
Required Qualifications (Educational/Certification Requirements and Experience):
Master's degree in engineering, electrical engineering (optical, electronic), computer science, or related fields.
Experience using Ansys Speos, Ansys Zemax, or other simulation software at an actual industry level.
Currently enrolled as a graduate student at a recognized university in Japan.
Prepared to work at a designated location without support from Ansys.
Strong willingness to learn. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Writing and comprehension skills in English.
Presentation skills.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Basic experience in Python or other object-oriented programming/scripting languages.
Knowledge of design optimization methods for engineering.
