Job Summary

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will join the Core Web team and will be responsible for the architect design of new services and the redesign of existing services based on the firm's strategy on a hybrid cloud architecture.

Role /

Principal Accountabilities:

• Architecture design, system development and support of the core systems within the company
• Delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• To communicate effectively to team members overseas, Japanese and global stakeholders.

Skills &

Experience Required:

• Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Java ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in micro service architecture design and implementation
• Strong system analytical skills for existing systems and new solution design
• Strong SQL skills and experience with one or more RDBMS's, e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, Sybase.
• Strong capability to understand and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions

Desirable

• Working experience of public cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure etc.
• Knowledge of DevOps, SRE and Release Management methodology and tools
