- Manage and maintain databases, including optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using Java, C/C#, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Propose solutions, design and implement new functions in alignment with the business needs.
- Work closely with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement new software applications following best practices and policy.
- Work closely with global team to deploy global solution and lead successful deployment in Japan.
- Provde technical support and training to end-users, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Maintain documentation and perform code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in database management, application development, and vendor management.
- Strong experience in programming languages such as Java, C/C#.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English (business level).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in a multinational company is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to help others out is important.
- Experience participating in globally and locally driven IT Projects (regardless of role).
- Native level Japanese language in addition to the business level of English
