Early days of finding a career Various After leaving school at 17 I spent a few years trying to work out what I wanted to do...

I worked in shopfitting, telling the likes of Tesco and BookerWholesale how many shelves they needed in their new stores;

I introduced a new computer system into an Insurance Broker's office with somewhat dramatic and positive results.

I made a mistake and joined the Army as an office candidate with the Royal Corps of Signals. Good learning experience.

I had the obligatory period of being unemployed.

Somehow I survived and set myself up for a blossoming career in technology and management consulting.
